Vital Signs

This module offers a foundational understanding of vital signs (VS), equipping Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) with the skills to accurately measure, interpret, and record these critical health indicators. CNAs routinely monitor vital signs to track a patient’s health status, identify potential issues, and provide essential information to healthcare teams. This course covers the common types of VS, the equipment used, and the normal ranges. Additionally, it emphasizes the importance of accurate observations and reporting, particularly with older adults who may experience shifts in their baseline VS.
