Understanding Arthritis

This course provides Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) with a thorough understanding of arthritis, including the types, causes, symptoms, and treatment options. Focusing on Rheumatoid and Osteoarthritis will help CNAs differentiate between the two and understand their unique characteristics. Participants will also learn about risk factors, controllable lifestyle choices, and CNAs’ role in assisting patients during their recovery process. This module aims to empower CNAs to provide more informed, compassionate care to patients with arthritis.
