About Course

This course provides Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) with an understanding of Passive and Active Range of Motion (PROM and AROM) exercises and their importance in patient care. ROM exercises play a crucial role in preventing stiffness, enhancing mobility, and supporting muscle strength in patients who are immobile or have limited mobility. This course will cover the types of ROM exercises, their indications and goals, and specific techniques to ensure safe and effective practice. CNAs will also learn how to prepare patients, recognize contraindications, and apply proper body mechanics while assisting patients in ROM exercises.

Course Content
