Common Skin Conditions

This course provides Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) with a comprehensive understanding of common skin conditions, including chronic and contagious conditions. As the body’s largest organ, the skin plays a vital role in protecting against infection, regulating temperature, and facilitating sensation. This course will cover the functions of skin, common skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis, and appropriate patient guidance. Additionally, CNAs will learn to dispel common misconceptions about skin health, aiding in better patient support and education.
