Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA) or Stroke

This course provides Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) with foundational knowledge of cerebrovascular accidents (CVA) or strokes, focusing on their causes, types, signs, symptoms, and associated risk factors. CNAs will also learn about the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of strokes and the specific responsibilities they hold when caring for patients who have experienced a stroke. Through this training, CNAs will gain insight into stroke management, enabling them to offer effective, compassionate support for clients recovering from such life-altering events.
